Soviet single-engine attack aircraft known as “Black Death” by German soldiers; it was used to attack ground targets such as tanks and other vehicles. The crew consisted of the pilot and a rear gunner. The Il-2 was also used by Czechoslovak airmen in the Ostrava area.

German single-engine dive bomber. The crew consisted of the pilot and a rear gunner. Although the Stuka was somewhat dated in its design, having a fixed undercarriage, it remained one of the mainstays of the Luftwaffe throughout the war.
